About This Beating Heart
This Beating Heart is an American hard rock band. The band was formed in 2010 in St. Amant, Louisiana by guitarist Jamie Mayer and bass player Ryan Domingue and has been based in St. Amant from the beginning of its career.
The band’s fast tempos, instrumentals, unique timings and aggressive musicianship make them one of south Louisiana’s premier hard rock bands. This Beating Heart’s current lineup comprises founding members Jamie Mayer and Ryan Domingue, longtime frontman Chris Kelton, and Drummer J.C. Clark. The music is written by Kelton, Mayers and Domingue. Kelton joined the band in 2013 after spending most of his music career in Nashville. and Clark joined in 2021 after the tragic passing of the lead vocalist of the band he was playing with at the time.
This Beating Heart’s debut album is “At War Withing” and they are currently working on a second album. This album paired with some of the best hard rock covers of the 90’s; 2000’s brings a high energy show that will leave you wanting more.
